Professional Pics are Up!

The pictures taken by our totally awesome photographer, Krista Handfield, are up on her site.  Go to her site, click on “View your wedding portfolio”.  At the next site, enter the password Susan (it’s case sensitive so make sure the first “S” is capitalized).

If you took pictures at our wedding and have yet to upload them to our site, please see the instructions in the previous post.  We would like to have a compilation of all the pictures.  Thanks!

Pics of Bridal Shower

If you have digital pictures of Susan’s Bridal Shower, you can use the same username and password for our site (www.rizzopvd.org/gallery) to upload those pictures to the Bridal Shower album (see the previous post for the username and password).  We’re trying to get all the pictures from everything related to our wedding online.

Pictures Pictures Pictures!

We have created a place for everyone to share their pictures. We would appreciate it if anyone who took digital pictures at our wedding would upload their pictures to our site. Please visit our photo gallery at www.rizzopvd.org/gallery and use the following information to login:

Username: weddingpics
Password: biltmore678

You should be able to upload pictures to the Our Wedding album or the Susan’s Bridal Shower album.

Also, if you would like to see the professional photos taken by our photographer, Krista Handfield, visit www.weddingsbykrista.com and click on the link that says View Your Wedding Portfolio. When you do that, you should see a box below the Private Galleries heading. The password is Susan (and it’s case-sensitive, so be sure to capitalize that S). Her pictures should be available for viewing about 2-3 weeks after the wedding.

Thank You Everyone!!!!

We want to thank everyone for making our wedding such a fun and memorable day.  It was really the best day of our lives and we owe it all to wonderful family and friends.  We had an absolute blast.

We also want to thank all our vendors for making it such a perfect day.  It could not have gone any smoother.

We did it!!

We’re now Mr. and Mrs. James Rizzo!!

Correction on Directions

I noticed a couple minor mistakes in two of the directions we had written.

The first mistake is that in the directions to the Biltmore from the Chapel, there is no longer a sign for the Providence Place Mall at Park St. You will know when you’re there because it’s the first right immediately after driving over the highway.

The second mistake is that in directions to the Chapel from the Biltmore, the first light after turning onto Washingston St. is actually Union St. and Matthewson St. is the second light. However, either of these roads will get you where you need to go.

I changed the directions on the Directions page, but the directions that were included with the invitations and the directions that will be found on the programs are incorrect. Please note these minor changes.

Looking for suggestions or have a question?

If you’re arriving early and looking for suggestions on places to eat or things to do and you didn’t already check, a few posts down there’s a post Where to Eat in Providence and another one Where to Play in Providence. Check those out for restaurants Susan and I enjoy or things Susan and I like to do. If you have a question about anything listed or about Providence or Rhode Island in general, feel free to contact us and we’ll give you some guidance. Rhode Island is a quirky, but fun, little state, and Providence is a fun city. Both have tons to do and see.

Forgot to book a room?

Have no fear. You can still get the room block rate, at least at the Biltmore. At the time of this writing, they have plenty of rooms still available. You will need to call their local Providence number (401-421-0700) in order to get the reduced rate. If you have any trouble, feel free to let Susan or me know and we’ll get it straightened out.

Update (6/1): We have received word that you might be able to book online and get a good rate at any of the hotels. Apparently, there is nothing going on in the city next weekend except for our wedding.

Special Diet Restrictions

If you are planning on attending our wedding and have a special diet restriction, please contact either Susan or myself. Our contact information is located in the Contact link at the top of this page. We should be able to accommodate any special restrictions. We have made our menu available at the Menu link at the top of this page with more detailed descriptions of the options.
